We waited to carve our pumpkins until Lily got home that evening. I helped Hudson and Brandon helped Connor. Hudson just wanted a simple face (good thing) and Connor wanted something that looked like a pirate. Chris & Lily made theirs scary and Rina roasted pumpkin seeds for us. 
This was the first year we didn't use the carving kits and it was by far the most fun coming up with our own designs. Plus, it went much faster!!
