So the other day I had a headache and I was totally short tempered with the kids. I felt guilty and like all good parents I decided to overcompensate to make up for it. They have been itching to get their hands on the moving boxes so while they were resting I put together a couple of boxes and covered them in white craft paper. My intention was to make one house for Connor's dog and one for Hudson's duck. They had other ideas. They have spent hours inside of their boxes since Monday. They insist on having snack time in them. They watch cartoons from the little windows. It is pretty cute.
They decorated the houses with stickers and markers
Then they carried them upstairs to play with them.
I just walked into Connor's room to check on him and found this...
Looks comfy! I am now on my way to return all of the Christmas gifts and buy more boxes!
