The Sunday before Easter we went to an Easter Egg hunt at a local neighborhood. Actually it is more like a Run & Grab. No real hunting involved! They separate the kids by age and luckily the 3 and 4 year olds were together. They boys had a blast and as usual great technique!
After the boys filled their baskets Brandon noticed a little girl who only had 2 eggs in her basket. Her Mom said it was her first time and she was shy. Brandon asked Connor if he would share some eggs with her and he walked right over and proceeded to fill her basket. Even Hudson followed and they filled her basket! I was so proud that it only took one word from Brandon and there wasn't any resistance. All week long after that when Connor says his prayers at night he has added in the line "help us to know that all people in the world need help".
I loved that the eggs were filled with mostly little toys and not candy!
