resolutions

I don't usually make New Years resolutions, but i thought this year i would.

Resolution #1 Start Blogging... once a week should be a possible resolution to keep

Resolution #2 Maintain weight.... I like where I am now & we have a cruise in March... so the goal is to maintain

Resolution #3 Read more to the boys.

That should do it. I'll save the rest for next year!

Let's see.... what's new with the family? Connor is going to have tubes put in his ears on Jan 12th. We are nervous for the anesthesia, but I know that this will help him. The poor little guy is so miserable when he gets an infection. He had a great Christmas and of course got totally spoiled! He is speaking so well now. We can actually have a conversation and so much of his frustration is gone. Next step for him is potty training. I am thinking we are going to try in February. He rides his bike like a lightning bolt! He is almost done with training wheels. Brandon is sure he will be done with them before he turns three.

Hudson is doing great. At his 9 month visit he was 23lbs & 30in. He is GROWING! Hudson got the privilege of playing baby Jesus at our church on Christmas Eve. He did a great job. Only problem was the costume didn't fit him... so we just wrapped him in a blanket! He took his first step yesterday & I think he will be walking in the next month or two. Hudson loves his big brother & their interaction is so cute. I am so glad that they are close in age. It is wonderful to watch them play.

Brandon is doing great. He just completed our dining room table & it is beautiful! He finished it just in time for Christmas dinner. He put the last coat of poly on it Friday night and we ate on it Saturday night. Business is busy (yeah). He is more amazing to me every day. He works so hard, comes home & right after dinner he takes the boys out for a bike ride & then comes in and gives them a shower & puts them to bed. After all that he some how has the energy to work on the house.

That brings me to the house. We have been here 8 weeks and we have done SOOO much. We tinted all the windows (a must in Florida to protect your drapes, furniture & kids from the sun), we painted the entire house, installed a custom closet, every window has a window treatment, built a custom desk for the office, hung pictures on all of the walls, built a dining room table & so much more. I will include house pics when we are all done.
That wasn't so hard to do. I guess I am going to post 1 time per week. That is what will work best for me for now. Maybe I will do more as time goes on. I hope the new year brings many good things to all of you!

more enough

On the way to school Connor threw up all over himself. I went straight to the Doctor. Well, his ear is still full of fluid. So, it's another round of antibiotics for him. Hudson got new antibiotics as he threw his up this morning. I am going to the Dr. this afternoon. Brandon is going to come home early from work.... thank goodness! Hopefully this thing wont be all complaining about the boys being sick.

ENOUGH!!

We are now all sick. Connor has been sick for 2 weeks. Actually since August when preschool started. I hate preschool. Everyone sends their kids to school sick & the it spreads to all of them. What is wrong with people?

Anyway, yesterday Hudson's eardrum burst. Poor little guy is miserable. I took him to the after hours pediatrician. It takes 2 weeks to heal on it's own.

This morning I woke up with the same thing. SO, I say.... ENOUGH!!

Here is a pic of Hudson this morning... right before he puked!

In the beginning.....

OK, so I have never thought of myself as someone who would do this, but I am getting worse and worse at sharing pics and keeping in touch with everyone. So, here is my solution. I read my friend Ali's blog about once a week and it is a good way to keep up with what is going on in her world. Though I am not sure if anyone will ever read this thing. At least I know I am giving everyone a way to see our boys grow & it will also be a nice way to journal their lives. So, with that being said, I make no promises to keep up with this thing on any type of regular basis. I will try my best to do it once a week or two.
