Bowling

On Saturday night we went bowling with BERO and the kids had so much fun. At first Connor took it way too seriously and was sad that he wasn't good at it. Gee...I wonder where he gets that competitive side? This picture makes me laugh because only when bowling with kids do you get to see a random ball just lying there!Hudson's technique was to hold the ball at his shoulder and then chuck it down the lane. Interestingly enough this is also Brandon's technique! I scored a 155! Not bad since I haven't bowled in quite a while.

new shirt

Connor has started having an opinion on his clothes. He loves button down shirts and he loves the color brown. He looks like a little Charlie Sheen in this bowling shirt. I love it!! He woke up Sunday morning and before he said good morning he said "I get to wear my brown shirt today!".

Soccer

On Saturday Mindy was out of town so I had to fill in as team mom. Boy, that job is not much fun. I dressed Hudson in Connor's uniform from last year and kept him on the bench with me.
Connor scored a goal (and 2 on Tuesday night!) When the team switched lines Hudson jumped up and ran onto the field. He was so upset that we wouldn't let him play. He is already pretty talented at dribbling the ball, but this league wont let them play until they are 4. Sorry kiddo!

finger painting

Last week I had a little project ready for Hudson & Olivia. We went on the back porch and finger painted. They had so much fun.Erin keeps trying to make up for me watching Olivia on Mondays, but what she doesn't know is I am the one who gets the good end of the deal. Hudson & Olivia are so sweet together and he actually behaves better when he has her to keep him distracted. Shhhh....don't tell Erin!

church picnic

Spring always means church picnic time! And as usual this years was tons of fun. The best part of course is spending time with all of our church family. But the other stuff is pretty fun too...
I talked Amelia into hanging out with Hudson so I could take pictures and he could still have fun. He must have, because when I took this picture he had just told Amelia he was done and just wanted to sit there with her.
BERO at the balloon toss. Olivia has an interesting technique. Connor's ready to play
Once again, Brandon worked the dunk tank, but this year Connor was first in line to dunk DaddyHe got it on the first try (it was right on the button, just not quite hard enough so the men helped him out a little!)Then Hudson had to get in on the fun!Ryan couldn't let them have all the fun!Next it was Brett's turn in the tank.Olivia made sure he didn't stay dry for long!
The kids had a blast in the fire engine

We have such an awesome church family and are truly blessed to have them all in our lives!

Brandon bought the boys a punching bag...

I'm sure that wont cause any problems later.

more beach fun

I have never really liked the beach. Something about packing up, driving an hour to spend an hour, packing back up to drive an hour home. That, plus it is always crowded and seems dirty to me. And even though this is a lake and not an ocean I like it so much better. Only 1 minute away so if we want to spend just an hour there is no problem. Plus we don't have to pack a meal or worry about our belongings.

Fair Fun

Connor and Hudson both love the fair. When we took Connor to Disney he didn't understand why he had to wait in line for rides and why the rides weren't as much fun as the fair. So, as we do every year we headed over to the Central Florida Fair. They had a blast!
The boys being Spiderman!
roller coaster
Brandon & Brett being good sports!
I hate this ride!
Hudson spent the whole time in this ride trying to get out of his boat and get in a blue one!
Ryan looks calm, Hudson looks happy and Connor and Max look like they might loose their corn dogs! Olivia got off the ride just in time.
I love Olivia's look of pure joy!
Ryan is rethinking his outside seat!

Ring Bearers

Yesterday the boys each received a card in the mail. They love getting mail! The cards were handmade by Tara & John and they asked the boys to be ring bearers in their wedding. We are all super excited about this. This is the boys only opportunity to be in a wedding as little kids. I can't wait to see them in their tuxedos! Oh, and the icing on the cake...... they asked Olivia to be the flower girl. I am weak with the thought of their cuteness!

Maundy Thursday

Once again our church put on a live rendition of DaVinci's Last Supper. This service is so powerful and really gets me in the right frame of mind for Easter. Brandon plays John and I love watching him do something so out of character for him. I get the honor of helping with set up and backstage. The men all did a great job again this year.Disciples gone wild!

Easter

Sunday morning we woke up the kids early so they would have time for some Easter fun before we headed out to church. They found their baskets right away and then ran around like crazy people finding all of the hidden plastic eggs. They were each filled with 5 jelly beans, 5 M&M's or 5 pennies. Then it was off to church! While we were in Sunday School Brett & Erin ran back to our house to help the Easter Bunny hide all of the eggs the kids colored so they could all find them together before we had Easter dinner.
Connor was off and running! Olivia was adorable as usualRyan had the market cornered on the eggs hidden up high!
Hudson was very gentle with his eggs We had a great lunch that included Grammy's salad, my vodka sauce and Erin's desserts. A team effort. It was one of the most relaxing holidays I can ever remember. The kids all decided they had to go swimming again after dinner and by the end of the afternoon all 4 were wiped out! While looking through the pics on my memory card I came across this pic of our sister-in-law, Erin. I guess Justin was having some fun with the camera. It made me remember that I have been keeping a big secret that I can finally tell....We are going to be an Aunt & Uncle again!!! We are so excited to have a cousin in town! We have been anticipating this news for a while now and can hardly wait to meet our new niece or nephew!
